Master Announces New Study Abroad Programs!
Program Overview

Master Exchange is pleased to offer Spring Break and Maymester programs in conjunction with the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Participants in both programs are eligible to receive undergraduate or graduate credit through the Universidad de Buenos Aires. A transcript and supporting documentation will be issued to each participant to facilitate the easy transfer of credit to the student’s home university. English is the primary language of instruction for these courses, which are specially designed for Master Exchange students.

Whether you enroll in the Intensive spring Break or Maymester program, you will participate in a total living and learning program designed to immerse you in the culture of Argentina. You will study at public university with students from Argentina, live with students from Argentina and other countries and ride the subway like a local.

The program includes a variety of tours designed to acquaint you with Argentine history and culture, from a Tango dinner show to trips to museums and street fairs (see program itinerary for details).

Universidad de Buenos Aires
The Universidad de Buenos Aires is one of the largest and most prestigious universities in Latin America, enrolling nearly 300,000 students in its various colleges. Master collaborates with the Oficina de Cooperacion Interacional in the Facultad de Ciencias Socailes (Office of International Cooperation, College of Social Sciences. The College enrolls approximately 25,000 students in social work, sociology, communication science, political science and labor relations.

Accomodations
Students for both programs will be housed at Residencias Master, a privately owned dormitory for students from various provinces in Argrentina and from other countries in Latin America and throughout the world.  At Residencias Master you might share breakfast with a student from Brazil, lunch with a student from Finland and dinner with a student from California. Housing options include double, triple and cuadruple rooms with private or shared baths. Rooms are comfortable and of average size by Argentine standards, but very small by U.S. standards. Highlights of the services provided by the residencies include:
